pray for the Las Vegas Team October 25 - 31
Pray for all the team members as they prepare today to leave early tomorrow morning for Las Vegas/Henderson to work and minister alongside Favor City Church and Pastor Joseph Gibbons and his staff for the next week.
Team members: Ed Joyner, Team Leader, Shelby Matthews, Phil Wheeler, Joan Calhoun, Charlene Lewis, Christian Davenport, Tony Vick
1. Pray for Shelby - that she will be open to God's leadership and bold in her sharing so that God will receive all the glory.
2. Pray for Joan - that she will remain calm so God can show her the needs of the people and give her the words of encouragements of the Father's love for them.
3. Pray for Tony. He is dealing with some dental issues. pray they get cleared up before he leaves. Pray he will be bold in his sharing and that the Lord will give him words of encouragement and that He will prepare the hearts of the people they come into contact with to receive the gospel message.
4. Pray for Charlene - that her heart and head are open to God's sweet whisper so that she can convey His will to all that they meet. Let God's glory show in all they do while they are there.
5. Pray for Christian - that she will leave all the worries of home AT HOME and focus on what God has for them to do. Pray she will easily share with others. Pray she will see her own life changed as a result of this trip and that her family and friends cannot deny she she lives only for Christ!
6. Pray for Ed - Pray for his wife Beverly to heal after a fall she took last weekend. Give her strength, patience, and wisdom as she is caring for her Mom who is staying at The Lodge.
7. Pray for Phil - Pray that God would be glorified in all they do!
Pray for continued unity among their team as they travel and minister this week. Pray they all stay healthy and motivated to serve no matter what th e request is or when it is. Pray that Favor City will be blessed by their service to God. Pray that the ministries of Favor City will be blessed by the team being there and working with them.
