Carole Wilber - Praise for Barbara Boone
Praise
Update on Barbara Boone‘s surgery. Everyone said that she would be in a lot of pain having rotator cuff surgery and the bone spurs removed and God is so good.
We have prayed that she would be in very little pain. The nerve block lasted for almost a week. The pain level has been may be a three tops. She will see the doctor for a follow up a week from today and start physical therapy a week after that.
Please continue to pray that the pain remains minimal.

We prayed that our son Mark & Miyuki Mowbray would have a great visit July 21–Aug.5. They they would feel the presence of God in our home and want to come back. They loved our family vacation and said they want to come back every year! Also, they visited our church and Miyuki said that she wanted to go to church when they got back to their home in Tokyo, Japan! She was very impressed with our 4 year old nursery ( for our grandson, Reo), and the nursery. Rui, is 21 months old, born in 2020 (a Covid baby). He is often fearful of unknown people. Well, he enjoyed the nursery so much that our son Mark was able to leave him playing with other toddlers. When we came back to pick both our grandsons up after church, they were content. I’ll never forget the sight of a man in a red golf shirt rocking Rui all snuggled up to this unknown man, fast asleep!!! Miyuki later said she wanted to be a Christian and she prayed a simple prayer of salvation!
I had been praying for 10 years for Miyuki to be saved and God has answered my prayer! Our son Mark texted me that they were going to church in Tokyo this Sunday! God is so good and faithful! To God be the glory!!!

8/18/22 UPDATE:
Linda is improving daily, but still suffering from diarrhea. Please pray that as her doctors allow a more normal diet, this will return to normal. Also, her husband is feeling ill, possibly covid.

8/9/22 UPDATE:
Please continue to pray for my sister, Linda Turner. She has now tested positive with Covid, a mild case and her symptoms are already improving. She still has diarrhea and is awaiting test results, but feels somewhat better aside from that. She is very appreciative of all the prayers.

7/29/22 UPDATE:
My sister had her surgery, but it was more complicated than they expected. Appendix had been leaking and they had to take part of the colon as well and clean up any infected area. This took 2.5 hrs. Instead of normal 45 min. in surgery and a much bigger incision. Also, a tube was inserted down her throat to suction fluids and she has not eaten in 4 days. As a result, she is in great amount of pain. Still looking at about 4 more days or so in Erie hospital. PPF healing, no infections, tube removal and ability to eat, and of course, pain to subside. Thank you!!

7/27/22: My sister Linda Turner in PA was rushed to the hospital last night with abdominal pain and diagnosed with appendicitis. Last info was that they would need to remove it, probably this AM. Please pray for doctors, healing and updates on her condition. She is 75 yrs. old...

Pray for Your Choice Resource Center - Mobile Unit
8/22/22 UPDATE/PRAISE - YCRC got the mobile unit back today!
8/11/22 UPDATE: Please continue praying that YCRC can get their Mobile Unit repaired, and back in operation so they can continue their outreach ministry in the community and beyond.

YCRC was hoping to take their Mobile Unit to Fayetteville today (7/26/22), but their Mobile Unit was out of commission. Please join them in praying that the van can be diagnosed and fixed very soon so they can get back on the road ASAP!
There are exhaust fumes in the coolant, but so far, they have been unable to find the leak.
