UPDATE (2/10/22): Brent & Holly and Tyson made it back to their country a bit ago, and are doing great! Travels went smoothly, without incident. Continue to pray for them as they adjust to being on the field now without McKenzie!

They thank everyone for praying for them!

*Pray for smooth travels as they leave Rocky Mount this morning to head back to their field of service.

*Pray the jetlag isn't too bad when they land and get going "back home" again!

*Pray as they had to say goodbye again to their oldest daughter, Kayla, who lives here, and now adapt to being without their daughter, McKenzie, as she is staying in Rocky Mount with Kayla, and not returning to the field with them. *Pray as they adapt and adjust to being a family of 3 overseas and for Tyson, their son, as he gets used to being without his sister.

IMPORTANT PRAYER REQUEST for our Global Partners - Jacob & Melissa

2/5/22: Sophia's visa arrived this week and they have it in hand! They are now making arrangements for their return back to the field. Pray that all travel arrangements go smoothly. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS! GOD IS FAITHFUL!

UPDATE (1/29/22) Praise the Lord!!! Sophia's visa was pushed through on Friday and has been submitted for decision making! Pray now that her visa will be approved and delivered promptly!

Please pray for Jacob/Melissa and for their daughter, Sophia's visa this morning!

They are currently stateside and last week, they received 5 of their family's 6 visa requests/applications came back. Sophia's, their daughter's has been stuck at the application center and they have not sent it on to the embassy for approval.

They have called countless times, but nothing has changed.

Please pray that they would send her application to the embassy TODAY and that she would then be approved so they can return to the field at their scheduled time.

Pray for Danny Plyler's Mom

1/31/22 UPDATE: Danny is back home now, and his mom is recovering and doing much better. Thank you for your prayers on her behalf.

1/27/22 UPDATE:

Danny’s mom has improved significantly and will be discharged today to go back to rehab. Danny sat and prayed and read scripture with her this morning before he left to come home.

She will see a neurosurgeon next week to determine whether or not she will need to have surgery to relieve pressure on her spine. She is hoping that if the surgery were to be successful, she might be able to return to assisted living after a brief period of post-surgery rehab.

Thank you all for your prayers on her behalf!

(1/25/22 PM) UPDATE:

When Danny arrived in TN, his mom was still very incoherent and confused. Through the afternoon, she became a little more lucid but still spoke of things that the family had trouble understanding, which is out of character for her.

Doctors have been able to help with the bowel issues/pain, but there has been no evidence of infection in the blood cultures they did, so the delirium is still confusing. They are planning an MRI tonight to look at her brain to determine if she has had some sort of stroke type incident as they try to figure out what has happened.

Please continue to pray fervently for her doctors to precisely determine what is going on with Danny's mom and that they will be able to treat her quickly and wisely.

(1/25/22): Danny Plyler's mom was admitted to the hospital last night with extreme pain, nausea and vomiting. They are checking to see if she has appropriate blood flow in her bowels or a possible obstruction.

Danny will be traveling to Tennessee today to be with her and to give his brother a break who has been with her this entire time.

Pray that doctors will be able to quickly diagnose the problem and begin a treatment that will ease her pain and bring complete healing. Pray also for travel mercies for Danny.

Bob Jones

UPDATE (1/29/22) Bob Jones went to heaven this morning a little after 9 am. The family is thankful for the many prayers that were lifted for them and for Bob during this time. Arrangements will be handled through Wheeler & Woodlief and will be posted on their Website when they have been arranged. Thank you for your prayers.

1/27/22 - UPDATE:

Doctors are trying to wean Bob off of his Blood Pressure medicine to see if his blood pressure will stabilize and remain level without medication. Pray specifically for this to happen. Right now his blood pressure is still low.

He is also in septic shock and is being treated with antibiotics for the infection that is throughout his body. Pray for God's will to be done, for his healing, and for continued peace for Linda and their family.

UPDATE (1/25/22 - AFTERNOON UPDATE): Bob has been moved to the Critical Care Unit in Room 101. His blood pressure and heart rate are still pretty stable, with medication. They have him sedated to make him most comfortable with the intubation. Continue to pray.

UPDATE (1/25/22): Bob is in critical but stable condition now as they wait for a bed to open up in the Critical Care unit this morning. His heart rate and blood pressure have stabilized somewhat overnight and they are controlling his afib with medication. Please lift Bob in prayer, and for Linda as she has been in the waiting room with very close friends and family throughout the night.

UPDATE (1/24/22 pm): Bob coded earlier this evening but his doctors were able to stabilize him. He is in critical but stable condition for now. Please continue to pray for God’s will to be done.

(1/24/22 AM): Please pray for Bob Jones, as he was transported to Nash/UNC Healthcare with a blood clot in his left leg, congestive heart failure, and a low heart rate.

Linda asks that we pray for them to keep their eyes on Him - that we pray for the doctors to quickly determine what is going on, and that the Lord will put the right people in the right place at the right time to help Bob!

They appreciate everyone\'s prayers and trust the Lord in all of this!
