Pray against expansion of legalized gambling in NC. Specifically plans for 4 new casinos in the state including Nash County. NC General Assembly vote is Tuesday September 5th to decide if expansion of casinos will be included in the state budget. If included, casino construction will be approved. Pray that this will not pass and bring this industry to Nash County. Pray for those addicted to gambling and the personal destruction it causes.

Pray for Alton Baker, my ex-husband. He was just diagnosed with Stage 3 cirrhosis of the liver from his Crohns medications, as well as 4 bad heart valves.
Sadly, it is believed that the Covid vaccine has caused the heart issues. He needs a miracle. But, more importantly, he needs salvation. He says he is a believer, but I am not sure.

Pray for Baptist Children's Homes
There are 16,000+children without homes in the state of North Carolina alone!
Praise the Lord, that more than 120 children currently have safe, caring homes as a result of families saying “yes” to becoming licensed foster care parents.
BCH has been been providing a variety of placement and prevention services to meet the specific needs of children and families through their many programs including Cottage Care, Family Care, Community Outreach Ministry, Orphan Care, Family Foster Care and others.
Although we can’t help every child, you can be a difference maker for even one child giving them a bright hope for the future.
Join with us in prayer, that our own church, and churches throughout North Carolina would each care for at least 4 of the 16,000 children in North Carolina's foster care system! If Baptist Children's Homes and the local church met that goal, every child would have a caring home!
