Our family is being attacked by the enemy. We found out our oldest son Cameron is using drugs again and he made comments about suicide to a friend. Thankfully his friend reached out to us and told us. We were able to get Cameron to admit himself in the hospital.
He was in the hospital for a few days but is now staying with us. He is still struggling and in the denial phase of needing help.
The last time we went through this Jim was drinking and I believe he turned to alcohol to numb the pain. Now he is sober he is feeling the hurt more of this than he did before . I'm not worried about Jim returning to alcohol, but I know this is hard on him, as it is on both of us.
Please pray that Cameron will turn away from the bondage he is in and he will turn to Christ. Pray for peace for Jim and I as we navigate this again, and we fight this battle with the enemy.
I know the Lord is with us, we just have to trust in him.

My daughter-in-laws brother has a reptured appendix and didn't address it immediately. He thought he had the flu. He is now sepsis and having emergency surgery at 3:00 this afternoon. (Tuesday). They are going to have to open him up. He does not know the Lord. Pray for wisdom and discernment for all who will be treating him. He is only in his early 30's. His name is John Bonano. None of the family are believers but my daughter-in-law knew to call me and ask for prayer. I prayed with her over the phone and told her I would put this on the prayer wall.

Received a letter that my mortgage is going up $250. Terrible timing because I’m taking classes for the next 4 months. And even though I received a partial scholarship, they are expensive for me. I’ve also been praying my automobile will last through this time in school. After a burst of tears, I’ve settled into trusting my Provider, Husband, Father God! Please pray with me. He gave me creative ways to adjust my budget and I’m trusting He will do it again. I’ve carefully prayed about this school and trusting God is leading me through it. Also pray for a young teen who is in the foster care system that is having a lot of mental health concerns. I pray for the teen to get the treatment needed, get approved for a facility for the long term care that is needed and that I can be a vessel to share Christ with this person.

Update on Kerry C - Kerry had surgery and was sent home yesterday in a very weak state. He is not eating much and his family believes he is depressed. Most of Kerry's life he has been very strong and served in the military, so this cancer has taken a toll on him. There is a world-class cancer center an hour away from his home, but Kerry does not want to inconvenience his adult daughter by choosing a location further away. Please pray Kerry will be wise in his decisions and for healing. Mostly, please pray for Kerry's salvation and the salvation of his family. There are no known believers in his family.

Please pray for my Mom, Claudia Moore. She will have surgery this Tuesday, August 19th, to remove a large, infected kidney stone through a procedure in her back called PCNL. I did not have a good feeling after the pre-op appointment with the urologist as he said that these procedures are very complicated and the outcome could go in about 1 of 5 different ways. Please pray that they are able to completely remove all pieces of the stone during the procedure and that she will not require any additional surgeries or procedures! Please also pray that she would be protected from infection in her bloodstream again as that is a possibility when they remove the (apparently angry) stone. She is very fearful that this will require an extended hospital stay, but we are praying for the best outcome! Thank you for lifting her up!

UPDATE: Gloria did see the dermatologist this week and they are encouraging her that the rash should be gone by the time she goes back to meet with her surgeon to reschedule her surgery!!!
My sister, Gloria was scheduled for surgery yesterday but due to a rash they were unable to go through that to perform the surgery. She will see a dermatologist and when it is cleared up she will be rescheduled for surgery. Please pray she can get an appointment very soon and this can be brought under control/healed so that she may have the surgery asap. Thank you for your prayers already and please continue praying.
