Pray for the Krishnavaka of India
The Krishnavaka people group of India has a population of 70,000 which is similar to the population of Apex, North Carolina. They work in cultivation and animal husbandry. Most of them are landowners.
The Krishnavaka have cross cousin marriages. They allow for divorce and remarriage. The oldest son becomes the new family head when the father dies. They have their children educated and use modern and traditional medicines.
Their Hindu religion is their attempt to find God on their own. Hinduism creates a goal of a higher plane of existence, and then declares certain steps necessary to reach that goal. Because of their zealous rituals that complete the steps, the Krishnavaka people consider themselves not lost.
Please pray that believers would be willing to leave things behind here to go in search of the Krishnavaka and tell them the way to Jesus, how to be truly saved and how to have a relationship with God.
