Mark is declining, he has a fever, his oxygen is decreasing to mid 80's and he is very weak. They initially diagnosed him with pneumonia and adenovirus but yesterday's chest x ray showed a small pleural effusion.
they are repeating the x-ray this morning to see if it's getting larger but a plural effusion can be pretty serious. Sometimes requiring tapping into the lungs to drain the fluid.
He's only breathing through his mouth, so they have attached the oxygen to a cup to help him to breathe. The mask was too difficult for his autism.
In his whole life, he's never been sick. He's very very sick and needs prayer like never before.
