40 Day Pray for EBC - God already knows, Why pray?
God’s word says to pray continually. As we enter this time of searching for a new pastor, we know that God already knows who the man is to lead us in the next chapter of EBC. Surely God can take care of our need without our asking, but when we ask, we are acknowledging that He alone is God.
So, as we humble ourselves and lay aside our willfulness and worry, we admit our desire to seek and obey Him.
“Ask me and I will tell you and tell you some remarkable secrets about what is going to happen here” (Jeremiah 33:3)
