UPDATE May 4: To God be the glory, my mom did well today during her surgery. She will remain in the hospital for 3-5 days and then be discharge to a rehab facility. She has a long road of recovery with therapies ahead. Pray she will work hard in physical and ocupational therapy and lean on God alone for strength and encouragement on the tough days. Pray for wisdom for medical team in rehab placement and for her family and friends as we walk through these days with her.
ORIGINAL REQUEST May 2: My mom, Mavis Cash, fell last night and broke her femur and shoulder. She will be having surgery on Sunday, May 4. Pray for her to have peace from God in all things, pain management, Dr. Hasty to have wisdom from God as he determines her care plan and performs surgery. Pray she will persevere through the extended recovery and rehabilitation.
