Please continue to pray for Victoire Lossau! Here's an update received 5/10/25: Greetings my friend. I went to the wound care center yesterday morning to see the nurse. She was supposed to look at the wound and re-bandage it. When she looked at it, she said it looks worse than it did on Tuesday when I came into the Wound center for the first time and had the doctor clean it. I was so discouraged to hear that the wound was not improving and getting worse. So she recommended that I see the doctor and he removed the dead flesh and cleaned out the infection. I really wasn’t prepared for that, but I knew it was necessary. So they gave me the shots of lidocaine And then the doctor scraped out all the infection and dead flesh. It took quite a while. I was there for two hours. When the Lidocaine wore off I did not feel well. My leg and wound were hurting. I still continue to have swelling in my foot and leg. I will go back on Monday to have the nurse re-dress it and then I will see the wound care doctor next Friday. Please pray that the swelling would go down in my leg and ankle and foot. Pray the wound would heal and also pray that the pain would subside. I was in a lot of pain yesterday. I had a hard time sleeping. I also have very little energy. Pray my energy is restored. My kidneys are functioning poorly. Please ask our Heavenly Father to improve their function. My salt level is low. Pray my salt level would increase as I add it to the foods I eat. Thank you so much for continuing to lift me up to our heavenly father. I greatly appreciate your prayers. God is my Healer.
