Day 1
What do we do? Is a question that many will ask during this season in the life of Englewood. What we do is pray and we continue sharing the Gospel message of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world. Realistically, we know that prayer is
the most important thing we can do during this pastoral search. It is difficult - just ask Peter, James, and John (Matthew 26:36 – 46). It has been said by those who consult with churches during these times of transition that a lack of prayer is one of the biggest mistakes made during the process.
Begin today by praying;
* asking God for His continued blessings on EBC,
* for His guidance as our search team enters this time of seeking God’s direction,
* for stamina to continue praying for as long as it takes,
* for us to be sensitive to God’s leading during this time of transition,
*to remember to pray for our leadership at EBC in the days to come.
